Muslim Goon held with 1Kg of Uranium

So the anti-Indian drive of the ‘Muslims living in India’ continues. In the latest event a Muslim criminal with alleged links to gangs across the country and even Afghanistan was arrested in Purulia district with nearly 1 kg of Uranium on Sunday, 3 Oct 2010. The market value of the radioactive element is said to be about $7 million.

The Muslims name is Ishtaq Ahmed’s and he lives at Dubra village in the Maoist-dominated Para area. Polics raided his house after a tip-off where they found a box with ‘URM, Made in USA’ stamped on it. Some other weapons were also found:- an automatic revolver, a pipegun and 21 rounds of ammunition.
Ahmed was arrested and a case filed at Para police station mentioning uranium seizure. Police didn’t open the box as the substance inside may be radioactive. It was sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory for further tests.
