‘If You Want to Live Under Sharia, Then Go Back to the Hellhole!’

These were the words of a courageous Muslim man – Mahfooz Kanwar, a professor emeritus of sociology at Mount Royal University in Calgary.
About a dozen immigrant Muslim families were demanding that the Louis Riel School Division in Winnipeg should not teach their children music for religious reasons.
The families believe that music is un-Islamic and that physical education (coed) classes should be segregated by gender even in the elementary years.
As always happen the school authorities were trying to figure a way to fit the demands of the Muslims in the curriculum rather than the other way out.
To this Mr.Mahfooz Kanwar said that he has some better ideas:

“I’d tell them, this is Canada, and in Canada, we teach music and physical education in our schools. If you don’t like it, leave. If you want to live under sharia law, go back to the hellhole country you came from or go to another hellhole country that lives under sharia law,” said Kanwar, who is a professor emeritus of sociology at Mount Royal University in Calgary.
That might be putting things a little more forcefully than most of us would be comfortable with, but Kanwar says he is tired of hearing about such out-of-tune demands from newcomers to our country. “Immigrants to Canada should adjust to Canada, not the other way around,” he argues….
Well said and well done Mr.Mahfooz Kanwar!
We need people like him in our politics who can refuse these illegal demands on the basis of their so-called religion and surely not idiots like Rahul Gandhi who will bow to their every demand or impotent like PM Manmohan Singh who give millions of dollars to our enemy Pakistan.
Muslims must learn that it will not be we and our religion who must always have to put up with their demands and have to adjust for them or to sacrifice our likes for them. If still Muslims want to live under Sahria Law they can better live and go any Islamic hellhole they want.

I often contemplate that if we lived in a world without religion, would there be wars? I guess there would be; power over people, land, and resources, human nature being what it is. Perhaps these days religion is just an excuse to fight. But I too dislike the hypocrisy of religious beliefs and the divisions these beliefs cause. Most of all I resent those people who leave their own countries to live a better life in ours, and then reject the way we live. They seem to believe that they are somehow superior beings, and history has shown us that this is a very dangerous mind set.

Yes there would be wars in a world without religion, people will find some other reason or politics is enough.
But killing people because what they are or what they believe is not only horrible but insane.
As far as I know Muslims they are arrogant & violent , same everywhere. This is what their religion make them. They live in a dilusional world where there is nothing but Islam.
For you Canadians I have a message, throw out Muslims from your country before it is too late or they will destroy the peace & prosperity of your country just like they did with India.

I believe the majority of Muslims are peaceful people just trying to make a living and raise a family. A few are extremists advocating Sharia law. Same applies to all religions: there are always extremists.

Have you ever noticed that islam is the ONLY “religion” that demands that the rest of any given society, where islam happens to be, pander to it? That everything and everyone MUST adjust to islam and its’ misguided beliefs? And that anyone who does NOT pander, but stands up to islam is all-of-a-sudden a bigot, a hater or my personal favorite…an islamophobe?
The ONLY(well not only) reason, in my opinion, is that islam CANNOT stand in the light of truth.
